主要在生物粘合剂的制备及其应用研究、纤维素基水凝胶的制备与性能研究等方面开展工作。主持吉林省教育厅项目1项,吉林省发改委项目1项;近年来在本专业领域以第一或通讯作者发表SCI论文10余篇,单篇影响因子最高11.092。出版专著1部。承担《创业基础》、《职业生涯规划》课程的教学。
